Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care throughout North Charleston and surrounding Charleston-area communities.

We are especially interested in caregivers with hands-on experience in personal care, mobility assistance, transfers, dementia/Alzheimer's care, and higher-level daily care needs.

POSITION DETAILS

💰 PAY: $15.00–$17.00/hour based on experience and skill level
📍 LOCATION:North Charleston and surrounding Charleston-area communities
📅 SCHEDULE:Weekdays, weekends, and various shift lengths may be available
EMPLOYMENT:PRN/Part-Time with flexible scheduling. Opportunities to work full-time hours may be available depending on client needs and assignments; full-time hours are not guaranteed.
CARE LEVELS:Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3
START DATE: ASAP

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Assist with mobility, walking, positioning, and safe transfers
• Provide dementia/Alzheimer's care and companionship
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with exercises as directed by the care plan
• Prepare meals according to client needs
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
• Assist with errands, appointments, and outings
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Follow care plans and safety procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred
• Personal care/ADL experience
• Mobility and transfer experience
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently in a client's home
• Dependable, compassionate, professional, and respectful
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to meet the physical demands of caregiving
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

CNA, PCA, HHA, nursing students, and experienced caregivers are encouraged to apply.
