Job Summary
We are looking for an Automotive Restoration Technician to join our successful car restoration shop.
As an Automotive Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for tear down, bag and tag, assessing missing and needed parts above and beyond work order, complete install of new parts per work order and install all bagged OEM parts not replaced new.
Work scopes range from gutting the vehicles inside and out in prep for blasting, paint and body, sanding gutted interiors and/or frames and spraying sound deadner, and/or undercoating, replacing new parts interior/exterior parts once paint is done - basically the beginning tear down of the restoration AND the finishing reassembly. Light mechanical work every now and then as needed.
You must be willing to learn and use our job tracking computer software and have a basic knowledge of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities
Standards conscious tear-down of classic vehicles.
Sanding
Carpentry and fabrication of non-upholstered interior parts
Cleaning of parts and vehicle
Parts organization
Reinstallation of removed parts
Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required
An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
Strong customer service and communications skills are required

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
