As a Restaurant Manager - Hourly, you will manage the restaurant's day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent guest service while promoting a positive work environment and prioritizing developing staff to reach their highest potential. You will support the General Manager and Team's efforts to maximize profitability, maintain high food and beverage quality standards, and manage inventory and supplies. - Work in the operation, directing day-to-day operations in front and back of the house people, systems, and processes.
- Acts as manager on duty, opens and closes restaurant per company standards.
- Uses required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document results, and take corrective action.
- Manage cash handling and ensure accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, guest relations, food safety, and restaurant maintenance.
- Oversee the hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and retention of staff.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Utilizes reward and recognition programs for restaurant Crewmembers.
- Authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides).
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience Needed
- 3+ years of proven work experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role.
- Ability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing.
- Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration or hospitality management preferred.
- New restaurant opening experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
