Job Summary
Exciting opportunity to join community-based, physical therapist owned, outpatient orthopedic clinic in Playa Vista. Currently looking for the right individual to move forward with as we continue to grow in our wonderful space in the lovely Playa Vista community. We will continue to offer the highest quality care that we have been known for since opening in 2004. We offer a dynamic but relaxed working atmosphere emphasizing personalized care for each patient. We treat patients one-on-one each visit for 45 minutes, allowing us to utilize all our skills and optimize outcomes with our diverse orthopedic patient population. Currently looking for a full time PT ready to work 30-40 hours per week. Ideal start date is December 2023 but we have some flexibility for the right applicant. Responsibilities
- Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
- Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient
- Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals
- Work closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care
- Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress
Qualifications
- Must hold the required state license for Physical Therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients
Compensation: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
Physical therapy is both a science and an art. At Playa Physical Therapy we are committed to the latest scientific advances provided through high quality, individual, caring services. For this reason, we do not utilize aides or assistants. At each visit, every patient receives one-on-one treatment with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy for 45 minutes. This ensures continuity of care and maximizes the outcome of the treatments.

We utilize our in-depth knowledge to examine and accurately determine the cause of the patient’s problem and then design a treatment plan to correct the problem. Common treatments used are myofascial release techniques, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and most importantly, therapeutic exercises to help maintain the achieved improvements. We believe it is important to instruct and guide patients in understanding their injuries and learning how to prevent future occurrences. Thus, we customize therapy and exercises to complement ability level and lifestyle. Our ultimate goal is to provide treatment and education that enables our patients to perform at their highest level at home, in the office, or on the sports field.
