- Associate (preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
- Teach basic academic skills such as math, language arts, and science
- Incorporate physical education and movement activities into daily routines
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (must have)
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents/guardians and other staff members
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
