Job Description
This position requires an individual who is organized, hardworking, and takes pride in their work. Strong leadership and people management skills are a must as is the ability to communicate effectively with both management, colleagues, and clients.
Due to the nature of our work and the demands of our clients, flexible working hours are required though a typical work week is Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Cleaning/Content Technician maybe required to take their turn in the rotation of being on-call.
There is an element of supervisory skills required in this position. It is expected that the Technician will put structure around the cleaning/pack out/content management teams to ensure they deliver expected results that meet our quality standards and deliver total customer satisfaction.

Daily Job Functions
  • Listing, documenting, photographing, protecting, packing, and moving our clients belongings in order to assist in the mitigation and reconstruction of our clients property
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs safely
  • Scoping, planning, scheduling, and monitoring cleaning job sites
  • Pre, post cleaning of client's property
  • Providing efficiency while also being careful and mindful of the job at hand
  • Ensuring timesheets and job reports are completed and uploaded as necessary
  • Required to make management aware of risks associated with team members and/or ‘simmering’ situations where there is a risk that team performance could break down as a result of conflicting, personal differences
  • Taking ownership for the business function and suggesting improvements which will result in increased income and/or reduced costs
  • Championing a “Team Spirit” that supports the Company values and encourages fun and professionalism
  • Training new personnel regarding the use of cleaning supplies and methods
  • Assisting management in developing a long-term career path for employees
  • Identifying and correcting unsafe practices and conditions
  • Prior to closing a job, performing a final walk through with client and identifying final touch ups, passing written instructions back to Estimator/Project Manager in regards to potential issues, customer concerns or things that still need to be addressed before the job is able to be closed
Career Path
Given that over time, the Employee has demonstrated success in the performance of his/her duties, as described above, the Employee can expect to be promoted to take on a more supervisory role where they will be given more responsibility for delivering quality results and made accountable for a number of teams working in this function.

Some conditions that could have an effect on when/if this might occur include: the financial ability of the company to expand the role; the Employee’s dedication, commitment, ability and intent to taking on more responsibility within the company; or a restructuring of business functions and reassigning of responsibilities brought about by either business growth or a down turn in market conditions.

Possession of a valid Ontario G class Driver’s License and a clean driving record is required at the time of hiring and must be maintained while employed. A police check will be conducted before any employment commences.
Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
