Restore is seeking an outgoing, experienced Lead Nurse to join our team of wellness professionals on a mission to help people feel better so they can do more of what they love. The Lead Nurse role supports our studio by leading the clinical management of medical services and nursing staff, by upholding a high level of standards and contributing strategies and execution for our monthly revenue goals.
This position entails an average of 4-6 hours per week dedicated to administrative functions, in addition to other regular scheduled shifts, where you are acting as sole nurse on duty to administer services. See breakdown of duties below.
Must be dependable to fill in gaps upon other occasions as needed, such as events or if our part-time/PRN nurses are out.
This position reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
People Management
- Manage a team of Restore Nurses by performing monthly chart audits, hosting regular meetings and communications, and training all new nurse hires.
- Conduct in-person interviews for all nurse candidates and partner with the General Manager to onboard all new hires.
- Manage the schedules of part-time nurses, to ensure a Nurse is on the schedule at all medical operating hours and identify needs for hiring additional staff.
- Disseminate policy updates and act as a liaison between the corporate team and your location.
- Regularly evaluate the nursing staff to ensure high-quality skill levels and best practices.
- Manage store nursing operations, processes, and procedures.
- Facilitate training/development of current nurses and the orientation of new employees.
- Oversee hiring processes such as interviews and the selection of nursing staff.
- Perform personnel performance evaluations, regular 1:1s, and conduct counseling when necessary.
- Coordinate preceptorship assignments and learning opportunities.
- Communicate accurate, information-backed, safe practice and staffing ratio to management/ownership.
Medical Operations & Clinical Duties
- Attend corporate-led monthly nursing calls.
- Administer IV Drip Therapy and Intramuscular Injections to deliver our menu of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
- Educate clients on the qualities and benefits of our IV Drips and Intramuscular Injection ingredients.
- Administer Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy sessions.
- Perform blood draws for blood test offerings to help clients identify deficiencies, such as micronutrient testing.
- Manage the medical supply inventory and ordering process, maximizing cost-effectiveness and keeping supplies in stock.
- Promote memberships and medical services based on client needs, by delivering individualized care plans which includes recommendations and frequency for future client visits.
- Charting client visits via electronic medical records accurately and promptly.
- Documenting client notes and sales opportunities in Point of sale System.
- Address and answer client questions using the Restore Nursing Reference Guide under the supervision of the Medical Director and network of licensed Advanced Practice Providers.
- Report to the medical compliance team any issues or adverse effects that clients experience.
- Provide therapeutic communication along with exceptional customer service.
- Participate in community outreach, off-site nursing events, and special projects.
- Assist staff with administration and education on all Restore services.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules and regulations.

Qualifications
- You’re a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
- You are BLS (Basic Life Support) certified.
- You have at least two years of experience as a nurse in an acute care setting (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, or similar).
- You have at least two years of experience administering IM injections and IVs and are confident in your skills.
- You exhibit leadership or management skills, to comfortably lead a successful team of nurses, and assist the GM in leading the studio monthly medical goals.
- You’re comfortable using technology, including our EHR system to chart, point of sale system, and conducting Zoom telemedicine calls.
- You maintain a non-judgmental outlook and have a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse clientele.
- Your verbal and written communication skills are on point.
