We are seeking a Laboratory Technician With Phlebotomist Certificate to join our team! You will be responsible for performing medical tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples from patients
- Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis
- Properly record results for further analysis and easy reference
- Monitor inventory samples and supplies
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Work under the supervision of a medical technologist
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a clinical technician with experience in Pediactric Blood drawing
- Familiarity with common medical terminology
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong organizational skills
Doing Blood Draws and collecting specimens. Interacting with patients and doctors to collect accurate and timely information. Entering information correctly and entering them info the software system. Ensuring that all patient information is correct and specimens are processed quickly and accurately. Preparing all specimens for nightly pick up. Keeping track of supplies and ordering replacements in a timely manner.
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
