- Coordinate with the office, sales team, and vendors to resolve any difficult installs or issues.
- Repair broken or damaged products and work with manufacturers to resolve issues as necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule repair calls and/or troubleshooting with customers, review archived orders and call vendors to place repair orders.
- Creating paperwork to track repairs coming into the warehouse
- Track all repair activity in Excel sheet and review with management
- Creating paperwork to track product coming into the warehouse, and checking in delivered boxes
- Tracking product and scheduling freight appointments
- Helping the install team with additional job tasks (temp shades, large install setup, solo installations, etc.)
- Ensuring all product and materials are available for outgoing jobs
- Hub, remote, smart home setup for motorized/automated jobs
- Current and valid driver's license.
- Experience working as an in-home installer is a plus.
- Self-directed and able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Friendly, courteous, and pleasant with all types of people.
- Ability to learn and install new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of Budget Blinds staff and clients.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Ability to pass a drug screen test and background check plus clean driving record.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders.
- High school diploma or equivalent completed education level desired.
- Proficiency in MS Office and technology overall
