Job Summary
We are seeing a Professional Liability Attorney to provide legal counsel, perform legal research, draft documents, and litigate cases The ideal candidate will have at least one year of insurance defense litigation experience.
Responsibilities
- Defend professionals in liability litigation
- Perform legal research and extensive due diligence
- Provide legal advice to clients
- Prepare for and attend legal proceedings: hearings, depositions and mediations
- Negotiate on behalf of clients
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
- Previous insurance defense experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
