9ROUND Fitness Irvine Center is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and people-focused Fitness Trainer & Membership Advisor to join our award-winning team. This unique role combines fitness coaching, customer service, and membership sales in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where every day is different.

Responsibilities
- Coach members through 9ROUND's signature trainer-led 30-minute kickboxing circuit workouts.
- Demonstrate exercises and provide hands-on coaching to ensure safe and effective movement.
- Motivate members while delivering an exceptional workout experience every session.
- Provide focus mitt (pad work) coaching during workouts.
- Build genuine relationships with members and celebrate their progress and milestones.
- Conduct introductory workouts for prospective members and help them begin their fitness journey.
- Educate prospects on membership options and confidently recommend the membership that best fits their goals.
- Help achieve membership, retention, and referral goals through exceptional service.
- Promote retail products, studio events, and fitness challenges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and other day-to-day studio operations.
Qualifications
- Passion for fitness and helping people succeed.
- Experience in personal training, group fitness, boxing, martial arts, health clubs, or fitness membership sales is preferred.
- Experience coaching boxing or kickboxing pad work is a strong plus.
- Candidates without pad work experience are encouraged to apply. Comprehensive 9ROUND certification and training will teach the techniques needed to coach members safely and confidently.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and motivational skills.
- Comfortable speaking with prospective members and helping them select the membership that best fits their needs.
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-first mentality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Personal Training or Group Fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent) is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

- Previous experience delivering focus mitt or pad work coaching.
- Experience selling fitness memberships or working toward membership goals.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
