• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Renters, Condo and other Property & Casualty products
• Identify Life and Health opportunities and schedule or conduct appropriate conversations based on licensing
• Consistently work assigned leads according to the agency’s established contact and follow-up process
• Follow up on quotes and unsold opportunities until appropriately dispositioned
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify additional household insurance needs
• Develop relationships with customers and ask for referrals
• Maintain accurate documentation of lead source, customer activity, follow-ups and outcomes within agency systems
• Meet established monthly activity and production expectations
• Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching and performance reviews
• Work collaboratively with the Customer Care team to provide a strong customer experience
• Active Florida 4-40 or 2-20 license REQUIRED prior to start
• Prior State Farm agency experience strongly preferred
• Prior insurance sales experience preferred
• Proven ability to prospect, follow up and close business
• Strong communication, relationship-building and telephone skills
• Goal-oriented and accountable for individual production expectations
• Organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Comfortable using CRM and agency technology to manage opportunities and follow-up
• Coachable and willing to follow established sales processes
• Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
• Willingness to obtain Florida 2-20 and 2-14 licenses within 6–12 months if not currently held
