Position Summary:
The Mathnasium Lead Instructor is responsible for providing exceptional instruction to students, facilitating new instructors hiring and initial training, leading the instructional floor, coaching Instructors on how to improve their instructional abilities and their use of the Mathnasium method. Lead Instructors are capable of effectively balancing leadership and instructional responsibilities.

- Lead the instructional floor by facilitating the Team Teaching environment.
- Lead Instructors throughout the workday to ensure all students receive proper attention.
- Take accountability of and ensure students are progressing through their session’s workout plan and Mathnasium Hour.
- Coach and motivate Instructors to become better Instructors and help them master how to use the Mathnasium Method to help students learn math.
Instruction:
- Teach students through Mathnasium methodology and terminology, using prescribed teaching practices.
- Facilitate new instructors hiring and initial training
- Ensure Instructors are delivering instruction using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and methodology.
- Interact with and motivate students during the instructional session.
- Communicate student needs to the superiors.
Qualifications:
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through high school math
- Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
Work Schedule
This position can be either part-time or full-time. Candidates must be available to work at least 4 out of the 6 days we are open.

- Sat: 9am to 3pm
