StretchLab is seeking a Head Trainer/Lead Flexologist to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm.

StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist ™ training ensures that their clients receive a world-class stretching session.
Position:
Our Lead Flexologist will be responsible for supporting, training and devloping all Flexologists in their market after the initial FTP certification to continually improve and maximize their skillset, as well as providing one-on-one assisted stretches, assisting in program design, providing monthly MAPS assessments, and assigning members homework in our X+ platform.
Responsibilities:
- Assist all Flexologists with their FTP Pre-Work, Post-Work & guiding them to successfully complete required hours to receive their Flexologist certification.
- Facilitate and deliver weekly training topic (“Flex Fridays”) provided by SLX’s L&D Manager.
- Use dedicated development hours to ensure Flexologists are familiar with and proficient in all areas of the 360 Flex Assessment and achieve minimum monthly 360 score of 65+%.
- Introduce and educate Flex TEAM on workout and recovery tools we carry.
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions primarily in studio and occasionally onsite at pop-up events.
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions.
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach to leads.
- Managing client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments.
- Ensure the safety of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules.
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
- Handle member concerns when applicable.
- Assist General Manager and AGM with studio tour and sales as needed.
- Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention.
- Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Head Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, Chiropractic, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor.
- Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with a client
- Current nationally accredited certification in personal training, degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science, or license in Massage Therapy or Chiropractic.
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.

- Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve goals.
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies.
- Must be available to go through our 2-day Flexologist Training Program™, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person/hands-on training.
This position is full-time. Lead Flexologists make $35 an hour when stretching members. When not stretching, with 5 hours per week set aside for training and development of other Flexologists in the market, along with assisting their GM with different studio needs for $20 an hour.
