As a Café Attendant, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, clean, and safe atmosphere for our members and guests, all while upholding FFC’s core values.

Your Role:
  • Welcome with a Smile: Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Engage & Assist: Use your strong communication skills to answer questions and assist customers with product selection, ensuring they have everything they need.
  • Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café area that reflects FFC’s commitment to superior service.
  • Cash Handling: Manage transactions accurately, ensuring that the register reflects all sales and services.
  • Food & Safety: Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures according to local, state, and federal health codes.
  • Prepare Delicious Treats: Craft food and juice bar items following company recipes to delight our members.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your teammates and supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to keep the café running smoothly.

  • Reliable & Punctual: You can be counted on to show up on time and contribute to a smooth-running team.
  • Coachable & Eager to Learn: You’re open to feedback and eager to grow in your role.
  • Food Safety Certification: You must obtain an Illinois Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment (at your own expense).

Our Commitment to Hospitality: FFC offers a robust training program mandatory for all employees to attend. The training includes multiple hospitality courses to be completed during your first 90 days. Your manager will go over your role specific training and dates upon hire.
