The Mitigation and Emergency Services helper is responsible for assisting the Mitigation Technicians in traveling to and from residential and commercial property to assist clients and customers with the mitigation and restoration of their home or business due to damage from water, fire, wind, or mold loss. The main objective is to provide exceptional customer service and extraordinary care while honoring our core values of integrity, positive attitude, sense of urgency, communication with purpose, commitment to learn, and pride in work.
- Ability to work in harsh conditions such as inclement weather, high heat, and cold workplaces
- Basic knowledge of water damage and structural cleaning practices
- Knowledge of the loss process and the required steps to ensure proper handling
- Ability to follow directions and instructions given by supervisors
- Work safely in residential and commercial damaged properties
- Document and report loss information into company software
- Assist in removal of standing water from affected area using extraction methods
- Help set up appropriate amounts of equipment to dry structure
- Remove affected building materials when deemed non- salvageable
- Focus and dedication to provide exceptional customer service
- Continual desire to learn new things
- Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary
- Assist other team members when opportunities arise and be a leader
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Have excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Personable demeanor on the phone and in-person
- Be willing to work additional hours, if needed, in order to serve our customers
