Europa Village is an Old World European style winery in Temecula Valley’s Wine Country specializing in Spanish, Italian and French varietals. We have 340 acres with grape vines, two tasting rooms, a restaurant and a total of 20 rooms. We are looking to fill the position of Groundskeeper. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with a passion for landscaping, property cleanliness, and property beautification. 

Groundskeeper Reports to:

  • Facilities Manager
Responsibilities Specific to Groundskeeper:

  • Possess and live Europa Village core values.
  • Responsible for the care, maintenance and appearance of the grounds, landscape and property, such as lawn mowing, tree and shrub pruning and trimming, weeding and trash removal.
  • Able to operate various types of landscaping equipment including mowers and trimmers.
  • Repairs and maintains irrigation systems.
  • Ensures all landscaping is up to Europa Village's standards.
  • Cleans grounds and removes litter.
  • Cultivates flowerbeds and replaces dead flowers as necessary.
  • Maintains fountains and other water features.
  • Ensures lawns, trees, flowers and plants are receiving adequate water.
  • Fertilizes plants, flowers and grass as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Creates and fosters an environment of "teamwork" by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought.
  • Comfortable working on feet for long periods of time.
  • Able to communicate Europa Village's story.
  • Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
  • Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean uniform and appropriate shoes.
  • Arrive on time and is respectful of attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedure.
  • Has an attention to detail.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
