As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of orders to customers. You will work closely with the shipping team to package, label, and prepare orders for shipment, while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and securing products.
- Operate shipping software and equipment to generate shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [insert weight] pounds).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
