Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member

You’ll act as the first point of contact for the business, answer phone calls, schedule/confirm appointments, handle mail and deliveries, data entry and updates, customer follow-up, and help us with other operational duties to keep everything running smoothly. Responsibilities
· Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
· Answer incoming phone lines and direct accordingly.
· Manage voice mail/messages appropriately.
· Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service and assist customers with payments, billing clarification, coverages, and policy changes.
· Schedule and confirm appointments.
· Maintain confidentiality with the capability of communicating sensitive or confidential issues with the utmost discretion.

Qualifications
· High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
· Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
· At least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant, experience, or similar preferred
· Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
