Required Skills/Abilities
- Master’s degree or higher in a mental health discipline.
- Independently licensed with a Minnesota-issued clinical practice license (e.g., LISCW, LMFT, LPCC).
- Board approved clinical licensure supervisor
- Strong working knowledge of MN state requirements regulating mental health practice.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate in building a creative positive work culture that aligns with Ellie values
- Participate in required meetings (weekly COD Meeting, bi-weekly CM/ACD meeting, monthly Collaborative meeting)
- Support with cleanliness and maintenance of clinic space
- Order supplies and maintain an inventory of current supplies
- Monitor clinic capacity and track office space
- Troubleshoot issues within Valant, ADP, Teams, Outlook, and billing
- Review EHR service lines and complete Error Correction Form as needed
- Support clinic staff development to ensure accurate use of Valant
- Partner with Clinical Operations Director (COD) to support administrative changes as needed
- Coordinate with Clinical Operations Director to support the hiring process, including interviewing and onboarding
- Complete all assigned monthly chart audits
- Meet regularly with new staff for 1:1 mentorship, documentation review, training
- Facilitate clinical observation for staff new to the field
- Plan and implement staff team building/culture-building initiatives
- Meet 1:1 with assigned licensed and unlicensed clinicians to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation
- Check clinic performance data weekly and identify opportunities to improve clinic functioning and quality of client care
- Co-Facilitate 245i consultation groups, including documentation
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Maintain agreed upon clinical client caseload

Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time!
