$18.00 - $20.00 per hour!
The Laundry Technician position is a career in the property damage restoration industry. Our team is addresses the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism, while preserving as much of the property as possible and working safely and efficiently.
- Sort all linens, clothing and soft goods, and treat stains from various losses such as water, fire and sewer
- Use our mobile listing program to document all items into laundry and once restored
- Load all laundry into our industrial Esporta cleaning system
- Switch buckets of chemicals whenever needed
- Inventory and box or bag all cleaned and dried items
- Sorts and separates linen needing special attention such as drycleaning
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to Contents Manager
- Maintaining all laundry equipment and perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
- Perform additional laundry services when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe laundry area at all times
- All other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad), computer skills
- Communication skills via phone and face to face
- Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS and Encircle
- Ability to create documents
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to complete work on multiple jobs within the same time frame
- Ability to work within hazardous environments safely
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Maintain a level of confidentiality
- Frequently will lift up to 5-50lbs
