Armed Security Officer

**Position Available: Experienced Armed Security Officer**
**Location:** Sansom Park, Texas
**Schedule:** Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
The Citywide Protection Unit is on the search for a dedicated and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team, providing unparalleled security services within the vibrant community of Sansom Park, Texas. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties during the weekend, a time when vigilance and professionalism are paramount.

**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot and by vehicle to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an armed security officer.
- Must be licensed to carry a firearm in Texas.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in security administration or similar field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must reside in or near Sansom Park, Texas, to ensure quick response times and a strong understanding of the local community dynamics.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
