As a Business Development Manager, you will also be responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting leads, creating customized proposals to closing the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and close new clients and maintain a growing prospects list.
- Develop new referral accounts in the local healthcare and senior care community with elder care industry professionals, organizations, and establishments.
- Schedule and present information about Comforcare services to the community organizations, including doctors’ offices, hospitals, nursing homes, independent living facilities, planning boards and other healthcare professionals.
- Set up face-to-face meetings with qualified prospects
- Maintain communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and to continue to sell the full life cycle of services offered.
- Answering and actively making calls to prospective clients in need of services.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the assigned market and competition.
- Working closely with the client service team to ensure client satisfaction and excellence of care
- Previous sales & marketing background in Home care is required.
- Energetic/outgoing, self-starter with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Must be able to communicate both orally and written in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
- Must be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner in all situations.
- Functions as a Business partner with respective ComForCare business owner
- Participates in client engagement through care planning and excellent customer service
- Provides as needed clinical oversight and case management as required by regulations or business line
- Provides and ensures client care coordination and transition management activities across the continuum
- Facilitates the orientation process, competency and skills validation process for caregivers
- Ensures that competency and skill set of scheduled caregiver match the client requirements regardless of setting
- Provides supervisory oversight for a specific client, caregiver or field staff population as directed by regulations
- Collaborates with the office team to perform documentation review
- Provides education to team members, patients, family members of patients, caregivers, field staff, and referral sources
- Manages caregivers and field staff while on assignment (clinical functions); assesses and investigates caregiver and field staff concerns and issues, and provides performance coaching, counseling and disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Participates in clinical quality initiative activities.
- Accountable to all federal, state, local contracts and programs in accordance with state regulations and acts as the Administrator as needed.
- Performing comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.
- Developing an individualized plan of care for each client that incorporates analysis of data and current scientific findings.
- Providing interventions with a focus on achieving realistic client outcomes.
- Reporting changes to update the plan of care to reflect progress towards goals and outcomes.
- Maintaining client records showing systematic assessments, planning interventions, and evaluations.
- Knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- PowerPoint and Canva experience a plus
- Must have own reliable transportation
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license is a plus.
- Previous Director of Nursing experience is a plus.
- Minimum one year experience as a Registered Nurse in NC/SC
- Must meet all federal, state, local contract and program requirements, in addition to internal certifications and training, as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2 years Supervisory or Management experience in Home care Sales and Marketing.
- Proficiency with computers is a must.
- Experience with SC Medicaid and NC Medicaid (Carolina Complete Health Network) is a plus.
