NEXT MAN UP, a man's ultimate spa experience, is seeking a candidate to service our men . We are located in Bronzeville where nail service is really being sought out for the men who live in the area. Our client base are primarily professionals who are very conscious of their appearance.

Only licensed nail technicians will be considered.

About Next Man Up:
Next Man Up is the only spa in Bronzeville that is solely dedicated to servicing men. We offer total grooming and relaxation services. Our facility is totally dedicated to a man who is in need of personal care services.

General Nail Technician Duties:

• Providing high-quality manicures and pedicures, which includes removing old nail polish from fingernails and toenails, cleaning nails, shaping the ends of nails, pushing back cuticles, and applying new polish based on clients’ preferences.
• Recommending various nail designs and nail art to clients.
• Evaluating the condition of clients’ nails and advising them on proper nail care and suitable nail care treatments.
• Sanitizing all nail instruments and equipment before each use.
• Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly.
• Ensuring that nail and massage supplies are adequately stocked.
• Providing quality hand and foot massages.
• Adhering to the highest standards of sanitation, which includes cleaning and sanitizing tools and equipment
• Recording and updating client records while maintaining confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST BE A LICENSED NAIL TECHNICIAN/COSMETOLOGIST AND LISTED ON THE IDFPR DATABASE
• Extensive knowledge of nail-care techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-a talent for making people feel comfortable and better about themselves
• Strong time management abilities
• Ability to recommend and sell products
• Able to provide consistent services and treatments in accordance with state laws and spa protocols
• Must be able to operate LED lamps, portable pedicure spa, and ALL other spa implements and devices
• Support the needs of the spa
• Ensure the proper care of spa equipment
• Ensure safety, sterilization, and sanitation procedures are satisfied
