SMT Machine Operator

Job description:
Global leader in the manufacturing and deployment of innovative sensor systems. Help wanted on both 1st and 2nd shift.
- 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm.
- 2nd shift 3:30pm-12am.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, including pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and stencil printers
- Set up and load programs for SMT machines based on production requirements
- Inspect and troubleshoot SMT equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Perform soldering and rework on PCBs as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to fabricate and assemble electronic components
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of assembled products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SMT Operator or similar role in electronics manufacturing
- Proficient in operating SMT equipment, including pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and stencil printers
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and their functions
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Experience in soldering and rework techniques for PCBs
- Mechanical knowledge for using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SMT Operator or similar role in electronics manufacturing

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
