As an Event Marketing Representative for Mark Lanier State Farm Agency, your creativity, and strategy promote the continued growth of our agency. Your diversified marketing shapes our brand’s public image and cultivates existing client relations. Your cross-functional campaigns will expand the value generated by producers, innovate our customers’ experience, and strategically position our agency… whether on social media or at community events!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Event Marketing Representative for Mark Lanier State Farm Agency, your creativity, and strategy promote the continued growth of our agency. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the agent to identify, support & independently attend local community events (Primary role)
- Transport, lift and assemble marketing tent, tables and supplies
- Represent agency values and brand in a professional and friendly manner
- Work with the agent to help manage the website and social media content
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
- Work with the agent to develop and maintain a digital marketing system to promote the office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Marketing experience preferred (Event Marketing a plus)
- Able to attend events that are after normal business hours, such as Downtown Lakeland's First Friday
- Must be able to transport, lift and assemble agency tent, tables and supplies
- Proficient in social media, website, and email content generation
- Self-motivated
- People-oriented
- Excellent in collaborative communication with team members and customers

- Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.
- We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Business Insurance, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
- Our office is located in Alamo Plaza.
- Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
- I am a third generation State Farm agent.
- I am a proud graduate of University of Florida.
- We have 25 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
