THE BEACH CLUB SECURITY MANAGER
Job Description: 
Supervise and oversee a team of security guards and insure follow-through of standard processes and procedures for the HOA Security team.  Ensure that the security and the safety of the people on property (guests, owners, team members, vendors) is intact by enforcing the Rules and Regulations concerning the use and enjoyment of The Beach Club. Responsible for controlling/monitoring property access and egress. Responsible for monitoring alarm systems and composing incident reports, directing traffic, and liaison with police/fire/ems.  
 
 Job Duties:
  • Ensure that the team delivers outstanding service and the primary objective of security excellence. This will include performing rounds, responding to calls, overseeing parking, gatehouse duties, etc.
  • Assist in the development, documentation, training and enforcement of operational policies and procedures as it relates to security services to include daily operating procedures. Ensure that incidents are documented and reported.
  • Ensure that guest/owner concerns are responded to immediately.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the property, its systems and security goals to ensure the safety and security of the property. Ensure team members comply with all safety policies and regulations and emergency situations are handled as required.
  • Participate in and conduct meetings as needed.
  • Create weekly schedule and assist in disciplinary procedures as needed.
  • Assist in interview/hiring decisions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Must have at least 1 year of prior security experience
  • Must have at least 1 year of supervisory/management experience
  • Must have basic computer skills that include Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new programs.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must be self-motivated to handle guest, owner or team member issues.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts as needed including nights and weekends.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to become certified, required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand/walk rounds as well as sit at gate house.
  • Must be able to work in hot, cold, inclement weather as needed.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs. occasionally
 
 
Compensación: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Paid Internship Program
Gain hands-on experience during college breaks. Spectrum Resorts offers internships in three areas of the resort. In Food & Beverage you can have the opportunity to experience different areas of F&B such as casual and coastal cuisine restaurants, poolside bar and grill, food trucks and club lounge. Rotation between positions and outlets included. In the Rooms Division you can learn about the guest experience from Reservations to Front Desk to Housekeeping.
