Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable part-time Bookkeeper to join a small organization (7 employees) in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will document the company's financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. 20 hours per week, can be done outside of business hours, could be an excellent opportunity for a 2nd job or a role for a stay-at-home parent.

Responsibilities
  • Enter financial data and transactions.
  • Analyze budgets and other financial information.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements.
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with reconciliations
  • Good with experienced with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
