Position Type: Full-Time (40–48 hrs/week)

At Wood Shed, we’re looking for a reliable, driven individual to take the lead in Outdoor Power Equipment, Apparel Sales, and Equipment Rentals — with added responsibilities in supporting our on-site mechanic services.

🛠️ Job Summary

This lead role covers multiple departments — including equipment rentals, outdoor power equipment, apparel, and mechanical support. You’ll assist with day-to-day rentals and sales, maintain strong vendor relationships, and help keep our service shop running smoothly by scheduling repairs and ordering parts. Familiarity with brands like STIHL, Gravely Zero-Turn, Milwaukee, and DeWalt is a plus.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent service and guidance to customers on rentals, apparel, and equipment

  • Answer calls, quote rental rates, and write contracts via PC-based system

  • Maintain and schedule rental inventory, deliveries, and pickups

  • Coordinate parts orders and maintain accurate inventory for the mechanic

  • Schedule service work, keeping both customers and the mechanic informed

  • Load/unload equipment and support maintenance of small tools and machines

  • Oversee daily cleanliness and organization of sales floor and rental area

  • Assist with apparel sales and seasonal merchandising

  • Ensure a safe, efficient, and service-driven department

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently

  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of small engines and power tools

  • Knowledge of rental equipment operation, applications, and maintenance

  • Proficiency with computer systems and learning new platforms

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

  • Positive attitude, team leadership potential, and a passion for customer service

Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
