 We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bid Manager to join our dynamic team. The Bid Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end bid process, from initial opportunity identification through to contract award. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic approach to securing new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire bid process, including coordinating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Legal) to develop winning proposals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and tenders aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Review bid documents, contracts, and customer requirements to ensure compliance and responsiveness.
  • Develop bid strategies and value propositions tailored to each opportunity.
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand client needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop compelling technical and commercial content for proposals.
  • Lead bid review meetings, providing guidance and feedback to team members.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals that reflect the company's strengths and capabilities.
  • Maintain a repository of bid materials, templates, and best practices for future reference.
  • Track bid outcomes and participate in debriefs to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in bid management, proposal development, or a similar role within a competitive industry.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with bid management software (e.g., Qorus, Ariba, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in government contracting or B2B sales is a plus.
