- Types of Signs: Understand indoor and outdoor signs, materials like vinyl, acrylic, and metal, lighting options (LED, neon, backlit), and the differences between temporary and permanent signs.
- Installation Processes: Know various installation methods, the importance of site surveys, and the permitting process.
- Product Knowledge: Be aware of customization options, durability, and maintenance requirements.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on emerging technologies and environmental considerations.
- Case Studies and Portfolio: Maintain a portfolio of past projects and share success stories from satisfied clients.
- Technical Specifications: Understand design file requirements and color matching techniques.
- Prospecting for New Customers: Develop new business, target key prospects, and retain business.
- Product Presentation: Discuss products and services to convey quality, integrity, and superior customer understanding.
- Sales System Compliance: Understand and comply with the sales system/program in place.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop annual sales strategies in conjunction with management and identify joint marketing opportunities where applicable.
