Field Sales Specialist

As a field sales specialist, you are responsible for increasing sales by identifying prospective customers, developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients, following up on potential sales leads.

  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers
  • Schedule and meet with potential customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Attend local events to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
  • Follow industry trends and part take in social groups to identify new opportunities
  • Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
  • Meet and exceed sales goals consistently
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
  • Manage and maintain client accounts in CRM system
  • Perform other duties as assigned by agent
Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives
  • Impeccable interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with the word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Ability and willingness to travel, perform demonstrations and client meetings
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales / field sales. Experience working with small businesses a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from all walks of life
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to follow directions and stay compliant at all times
Compensation for this position is mostly commission based.
    
   This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
  
 

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $30,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
