Welder

We are seeking a skilled Mig/Tig Welder to join our team focused on aerospace parts manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have experience in welding operations, specifically in Mig and Tig processes, with a keen attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Mig and Tig welding on aerospace parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and welding procedures.
Set up welding machines based on job requirements, ensuring proper settings for material type and thickness.
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards for aerospace applications, including dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with engineers and quality control personnel to resolve any welding issues and improve processes.
Document welding parameters, procedures, and inspection results accurately.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mig/Tig welder, preferably in aerospace or a related industry.
Proficiency in Mig and Tig welding techniques, with the ability to weld various metals and alloys commonly used in aerospace manufacturing.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Knowledge of welding procedures and specifications related to aerospace standards (e.g., AWS D17.1, ASME, ASTM).
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
