- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing and multi-cultural learning environment
- Design and implement age appropriate play based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
- Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self esteem and social skills
- Prepare a daily activity report for each child
- Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A High School Diploma is required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development preferred
- A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required
