We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team in Rhode Island. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently to ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility
Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and windows
Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs
Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings and events as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Good physical condition and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Working Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
