FSLA: Non-Exempt, hourly
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm but could vary depending on warehouse needs.
Purpose of Position:
The Warehouse Operator will facilitate unloading and loading of trucks. This position is responsible for verifying case counts, assuring correct product temperatures, labeling pallets, and placing pallets into warehouse for shipment. This position is designed for entry-level warehouse needs.

Job Responsibilities:
· Unload inbound shipments and stage pallets onto dock area.
· Label pallets and enter products into inventory using RF scanner.
· Place incoming pallets into computer assigned warehouse racking.
· Locate and retrieve pallets from warehouse racking and stage on dock area for shipping.
· Load outbound shipments onto trucks.
· Keep the warehouse and dock area clean and organized.
· Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, clamps and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
· Report any broken, damaged, or malfunctioning warehouse equipment.
· Collaborate and communicate with team to meet shipping and receiving needs.
· Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Preferred:
· High School Diploma or GED
· 1+ year(s) of warehouse experience preferred.
· Knowledge of warehouse, shipping, receiving, cross-dock operations and clamp truck experience are preferred.
· Experience with operating equipment a plus (not required) such as: Electric pallet jack, Electric forklift, Electric
Hi/Deep reach truck, and Electric floor scrubber.
· Experience operating a yard jockey and moving trailers within a yard or parking lot, or a willingness to learn.
· Works well independently and within a team.
· Valid Driver’s license with the capability to safely operate vehicles as needed.
· Trained and certified to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, high-reach equipment and/or be willing to be trained in these
areas.
· Flexibility with working hours.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:
The Warehouse Operator must have the ability to safely perform physical requirements of the position, including: working in a -15-degree freezer environment, extended hours of sitting on and operating a forklift, standing, walking, bending, twisting and physical work that may include but not limited to: stacking boxes onto pallets and lifting up to 50 lbs. to complete required tasks. Ability to work in an environment that may be cold and noisy.
