ETWC is searching for a qualified Riding Instructor to assist in our lesson program. We teach English, Western, and Therapeutic Riding lessons to beginners through intermediate riders. The ideal candidate will be versed in teaching correct basics for a balanced seat, safety conscious, work well with others, and have prior experience for a minimum of 3 years. Certifications are a plus. Experience in teaching therapeutic riding is not required but would also be a plus, and we are willing to teach/coach the right candidate in the therapeutic. Additional hours are available performing daily barn chores, including feeding, turnout, etc. At least one weekend day is required and hours during the week, including some evenings. About Us
Equine Tranquility Wellness Center currently operates out of Equine Tranquility Farm that is located in Andover, NJ.
We offer Centered Riding Lessons, Therapeutic Riding, Equine Assisted Learning, Yoga on Horseback, Special “Mommy and Me” sessions, and are now offering a Bi-weekly Saturday morning camp for children ages 5-13. We offer lessons in a private session, or in a group session to help encourage social interaction.
ETWC is a non-profit corporation that strives to improve the lives and welfare of humans and horses. We specialize in individuals of all ages with emotional, psychological, and/or physical disabilities.
Some of the disabilities we serve include, but are not limited to, Autism, MS, CP, ADD/ADHD, Depressive Disorder, Downs Syndrome, TBI, and visual or hearing impaired.
What We Do
We give horses a second career to help people connect with nature and horses and realize the benefit of equine therapy. Our rescue horses are specially trained to work with individuals with a variety of special needs. We provide therapeutic and recreational riding services.
