Restoration and Cleaning Lead Technician Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma (or GED).
1+ years of restoration experience highly preferred
1 or more certifications from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) highly preferred
1 year of floor cleaning experience and/or some form of specialty cleaning (e.g. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.) is preferred, but not required
Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification preferred, but not required
Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.

Restoration and Cleaning Lead Technician Job Summary
Assist in gaining and retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of residential and commercial restoration and cleaning services. Restoration experience is preferred over carpet/floor cleaning experience, but an ideal candidate will have experience in both.

Primary Responsibilities

Effectively perform Restoration and Carpet & Floor Cleaning services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn other certifications and gain experience quickly).
Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
Communicate effectively with customers.
Perform basic equipment maintenance.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
Inspect completed work.
Complete the technician’s daily log.
Complete Work Orders.
Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
Maintain inventory of related supplies.
Lift heavy equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.
Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.

(Note: Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate will increase as experience and certifications are gained. Commissions and bonus are possible on top of hourly rate.)

The chosen applicant will be one of the first employees of Voda Cleaning & Restoration of South San Antonio and will be trusted to be a self-starter and positively build the brand’s reputation. The company plans to expand rapidly, resulting in its first employees to become managers of new employees just as fast. Pay will rise as responsibilities and experiences are added and trust is gained. Voda Cleaning & Restoration of South San Antonio is expected to be operational by the August/early September 2024.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
