Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all assets within the production facility and its grounds are maintained and repaired, adhering to OH&S and Q&E standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures in the plant and department.
- Maintain and repair Automated and Manual Lines, including troubleshooting, making mechanical adjustments, and replacing parts as necessary.
- Conduct maintenance and repair activities throughout the facility.
- Quickly troubleshoot and repair processes, assembly, and facility equipment.
- Ensure machines are maintained to meet Safety, Quality, and productivity standards.
- Oversee the facility’s proper operation.
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance to support efficient plant operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work environment in line with housekeeping standards.
Work Schedule
- 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic.
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency with Automated Lines and a willingness to learn new processes.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, electronic (PLC/instrumentation), and pneumatic equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, make sound decisions, and work efficiently.
- Willingness to work overtime and across all shifts as required (e.g., covering 1st shift, facility snow plowing).
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
Compensation: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
