The Farmstead at Medford is accepting applications for a full-time overnight Maintenance Technician that will also cover the overnight concierge desk to ensure a constant upkeep of our retirement community while enthusiastically spotting areas for improvement, The overnight maintenance technician will work closely with Community Mangers and residents.
Schedule, Benefits and Pay:
· You will work the following schedule 10:30pm to 7:00am Sunday through Thursday with flexibility to respond to community maintenance emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities and duties:
· You will be inspired to be disciplined and take ownership of the maintenance and upkeep of the Community.
· You will have the opportunity to bond with the Residents each day to foster a sense of trust.
· You will respond to maintenance requests from Residents including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and various maintenance tasks.
· You will monitor and respond to emergencies such as building life safety systems and the fire alarm panel.
· You will be stationed at the concierge desk, and field any complaints, issues, maintenance needs during the overnight shift.
· You will tour the building as needed to ensure that all entry doors are closed and locked after hours.

Qualifications:
· You have a minimum of 3 years facility maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment, or senior living facility.
· You have a current driver’s license and clean driving record: and are willing to drive the community shuttle safely as needed.
· You have experience performing routine maintenance and building repairs with a working knowledge of custodial procedures.
· You have basic computer skills including Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
· You have HVAC experience (while not mandatory, this is a plus.)
· You have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, managers, and vendors.
· You have the ability to sit for an extended period, reach, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs.

The Farmstead at Medford has been developed by the Eni and Meyer families, who are fourth generation residents and local business owners. The Meyer family has developed several communities in the Medford area for over 60 years, while the Eni family has developed various Medford properties and has been instrumental in the preservation of hundreds of acres of land in the area.

The Farmstead at Medford sits on a parcel of 56 acres, but just under 17 acres are being used for the actual project. The remaining acreage has been conveyed to the township to be permanently preserved as open space, providing residents with an expansive environment and extraordinary views.
