Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist with a limited permit to join our growing team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing counseling and therapy services to individuals and families struggling with mental health issues. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify and address their mental health concerns, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify mental health concerns and determine appropriate treatment plans
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services
• Collaborate with clients' families, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in the field

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in MHC
• Current limited permit to practice as a Mental Health Therapist in the state
• Experience working with individuals and families with mental health issues
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computers
• Bilingual spanish/Creole/French speaking preferred
• Seeking licensure or currently has a Limited Permit in NYS for the degree of MHC
