Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients who are might be primarily Spanish-speaking. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify and address their mental health concerns, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify mental health concerns and determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to primarily Spanish/Creole/French-speaking clients
  • Collaborate with clients' families, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in the field

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in MHC
  • Full licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with primarily Spanish/Creole/French-speaking clients
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Licensed in NYS
