Join Our Team: Special Education Teachers & Education Specialists in Richmond, CA!

Are you an energetic and enthusiastic Education Specialist or Special Education Teacher ready to make a difference in Richmond, CA? Celebrations Speech Group is hiring for an in-person, school-based role for the 2024-2025 school year. Work with a collaborative team in an inclusive charter school, managing a caseload of elementary or middle school students.

Responsibilities:

Provide intensive, individualized instruction for students with special needs.
Use diverse teaching methods to foster student engagement.
Administer and score assessments and standardized tests.
Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal laws.
Collaborate with service providers and coordinate special needs evaluations.
Create modified curriculum and train key stakeholders.
Maintain accurate special education records.
Ensure students receive services as per their IEPs and track progress.
Support inclusive education through co-teaching, push-in, pull-out, and one-on-one support.
Work with the Director of Special Education to align programs and services.

Qualifications:

Valid CA Education Specialist and/or Special Education Teaching Credential (California CTC).
Preferred: 1+ year of special education experience.
Ability to provide direct, in-person services to students.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and technological skills.
Strong knowledge of special education law and policy.

Compensation:

Competitive annual compensation: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00.
