Position

The Restoration Technician assists Crew Leads in performing services as assigned, following Mooring USA emergency service operation guidelines and communicates with the Crew Lead to ensure quality work is performed consistently at every job.  To accomplish the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential functions satisfactorily.
 
Essential Functions

  • Assists Crew lead with performing water extraction, demolition, cleaning and pack-out of contents as needed
  • Remove and dispose of any non-salvageable materials that were affected by the loss as directed by Crew Lead
  • Assist in setting up air movers, dehumidifiers and specialty equipment as directed by Crew Lead
  • Ensure safety precautions are observed on all jobs
  • Follow protocol for safe material handling and removal
  • Ensure all direction given by Crew Lead achieves Mooring USA emergency service operation guidelines
  • Ensure the quality of work provided meets or exceeds company standards and customer expectations.
  • Assist Crew Lead in cleaning and maintaining vehicles, equipment, and warehouse as needed
  • Communicate any and all information pertaining to the job to the Crew Lead
  • Resolve problems quickly as they arise
  • Support team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience in restoration industry, including both Fire and Water mitigation a plus
  • Must be able to work long periods of time in extreme temperatures both hot and cold
  • Must be able to respond to service calls after-hours and during inclement weather
  • Must have ability to communicate with others in written and verbal form
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
