ROLE DESCRIPTION:
 Seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team.  You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential and existing clients, retaining clients, and closing sales in order to achieve monthly sales targets.  If you are positive, an excellent communicator, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about helping others, we want to hear from you!
 
****Must be able to complete in person training in Charlotte, NC and be able to come into the office when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Customer Service: Serve as primary point of contact for current customers.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to, uncovering needs, and accurately answering customer questions and provide appropriate recommendations or solutions in a timely and professional manner to foster long-term relationships and drive repeat business through cross-selling efforts
  • Sales: Generate leads, build relationships and follow up with potential customers.
  • Use a customer-driven needs-based sales approach.
  • Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business. 
  • Maintain and track daily, weekly and monthly goals based on activity and production.
  • Leadership: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge.
  • Contribute to the team environment by providing encouragement and positivity.
  • Be someone the team can depend and count on.
  • Work closely with other departments and corporate partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Dedicated to customer service
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  •  Insurance experience preferred, but not required. Other industry experience we've seen success with is Retail, Cell Phone or Car Sales, Leasing Specialists, Hospitality (Hotel, Restaurant, Bar), and Convenience Stores.
  • Able to obtain Property and Casualty License
  • Able to obtain a Life/Health License
  • Able to achieve mutually agreed upon marketing goals
  • Interested in marketing products and services based on customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible, and meet goals and deadlines.
BENEFITS:
  • Salary plus commission/bonus
  • Salary plus monthly uncapped commission and bonuses.  Base salary of $35,300 - $39,600 for no industry experience with an average 1st year income with commission and bonuses of $43,400-$54,800.  Higher base salary available as a Senior Sales Rep for individuals with an active Property & Casualty or Life & Health producer license and proven successful Insurance industry experience.
  • Property & Casualty and Life & Health producer Licensing reimbursement and support available for those new to Insurance.  Must be able to obtain prior to start date.

Compensation: $35,300.00 - $74,825.00 per year
