Job Summary:
We seek a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team and work closely with our Physical Therapists to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will administer therapy treatments as outlined in the plan of care established by a Physical Therapist, ensuring the highest rehabilitation standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer therapy treatments according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care. - Communicate significant changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide input for modifying and updating treatment goals.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Educate physicians, patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Document treatment progress and patient information in a timely manner.
- Use therapy devices and equipment for patient care.
- Employ various stretching and massage techniques.
- Sanitize and clean therapy areas and equipment.
- Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, and completing forms.
- Operate standard office equipment.
- Answer phones and direct calls.
- Prepare letters, memos, forms, and reports.
- Maintain continuing education requirements to keep a valid Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- Use personal vehicle for company business (mileage reimbursement provided).

Our clinics service all types of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic injury foot and ankle, knee, shoulder, lower back pain, hand therapy, balance issues, deconditioning and vestibular issues. We are also experts in the workers’ compensation process for the injured worker.
The occupational therapy component of the rehabilitation team guides the worker in the replication of the actual job requirements through job simulation activities.
Our patients receive custom, one on one programs with personal and online support to create a successful rehabilitation plan. We communicate with the physicians, vocational counselors, and case managers to keep all concerned informed on the patient’s progress, treatment plan, and discharge goals.
