Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting group training sessions.
- Shadow and support experienced fitness coaches.
- Learn and demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on form.
- Engage with gym members, offering guidance, motivation, support, and feedback.
- Assist in conducting fitness assessments and tracking member progress.
- Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the fitness facility.
- Assist in equipment maintenance and setup for a safe workout environment.
- Participate in organizing and attending educational workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and fitness advancements.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance customer experience.
- Apply CPR and First Aid skills when necessary to ensure member safety.
- Stay updated on emergency response protocols and maintain a safe training environment.
- Support daily studio operations and member management.
- Coach and motivate members through predetermined workouts.
- Conduct goal-oriented consultations with trial members.
- Promote F45 services to support membership growth and retention.
- Handle light service desk responsibilities.
- Demonstrate and complete exercises with perfect form.
- Provide regressions and progressions for all exercises.
- Set up, break down, clean, and store equipment around the studio floor before and after classes.
- Assist with any day-to-day responsibilities as determined by studio management to deliver the best workout experience.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Passion for health and fitness with a desire to help others achieve wellness goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to various fitness methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of exercise physiology and fitness principles.
- Obtain a nationally accredited fitness certification (e.g., ISSA, NSA, ACE, ACSM, PTA Global, NASM, AFAA) within the first eight weeks.
- Obtain current CPR/First Aid/AED certification within the first eight weeks.
