Position Overview: Production Manager
Position Overview: The Production Manager is responsible for managing and improving safety, quality, productivity, cost-effectiveness, on-time delivery, and employee engagement across various production operations and shifts. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, oversees regulatory compliance, and ensures efficient management of production processes and inventory.
Essential Functions:
- Drive safety initiatives throughout the organization to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor production processes to achieve divisional goals in throughput, scrap/damage reduction, productivity, and downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Support capital expenditure projects aimed at improving production capabilities.
- Champion quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating corrective actions.
- Manage and develop team members, providing ongoing performance feedback and supporting career development.
- Recruit and hire manufacturing personnel to maintain optimal staffing levels and enforce operational procedures and policies.
- Oversee production inventory management to ensure accuracy and drive process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Proven track record in driving and implementing process improvements.
Working Hours: 2nd shift; 3:00PM-11:00PM
Compensation: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
