Position Overview

Do you have aspirations to run your own business? If so, you may want to consider working in the office of Patrick Danielson - State Farm Agent. As a member of our agency team, you have an opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be a State Farm Agent. You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance. This position will allow you to experience working in an agent's office and to explore the opportunity to become a State Farm agent yourself.

Qualifications:

  • Insurance or sales experience helps but is not required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must pass two state exams to obtain P & C / Life & Health licenses. Costs are reimbursed. Licenses not required up front.
  • Available to work these hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience required if no college.
  • Proficient in computer systems such as Excel, Word, Salesforce, etc. 
 Responsibilities:

  • Work existing leads, develop new leads, schedule appointments, identify customer's needs and market appropriate products which include auto, home and life insurance.
  • Outbound calls. Sales presentations in person and over the phone.
  • Establish relationships and actively respond in a timely manner with customers.
  • Network, market, and attend various events and functions.
  • Social media marketing.


This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
