Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform a range of repair and maintenance duties for homeowners and businesses. Customer's needs will vary but will generally include light electrical, plumbing and carpentry, sheetrock repair, assembling furniture and/or painting .
You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a professional maintenance worker is highly preferred and a positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Meet customer and conduct repair assessments and guidance
- Troubleshoot and fix the problem
- Purchase materials if needed on the job
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Explain the completed work with the customer
- Collect payment upon completion of the work
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a handyman / general maintenance
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
- Have strong attention to detail and able to work independently
- Be knowledgeable about Woof Handyman services
- Own your own tools set: basic carpentry tools, cordless drills, hand saw, crimping tools, wrenches, hammers, etc.
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels, and under crawl spaces
Compensación: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
